Why do I need the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin?
Section titled “Why do I need the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin?”If you want to customize WP-ImmoMakler individually — for example, adjust the appearance of the property list, change the display of individual exposés, or add custom CSS — we recommend using the so-called WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin.
How does the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin work?
Section titled “How does the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin work?”The WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin is a separate extension of WP-ImmoMakler in which all individual customizations are stored. It works similarly to a Child Theme in WordPress: your changes are separate from the main plugin and therefore survive updates to WP-ImmoMakler.
What happens with a plugin update?
Section titled “What happens with a plugin update?”Without the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin, all individual customizations would be overwritten and lost with each plugin update. With the WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin, your customizations are stored update-safely and remain permanently intact.
