Moving the Plugin to a New Domain
Deactivate the License Before Moving
Section titled “Deactivate the License Before Moving”Before moving your website to a new URL or domain, please deactivate your license key on the old website. Navigate in the backend of your website (wp-admin) to WP-ImmoMakler > Support License and deactivate the license there.
An active license cannot be transferred to a new URL without first being deactivated on the old website.
Forgot to Deactivate the License?
Section titled “Forgot to Deactivate the License?”If you forgot to deactivate the license before the move, you will not be able to activate it on the new website. In this case, please contact our support team and provide your license key along with the new URL. We will manually update the assignment in our system.
Update FTP Credentials in Your Real Estate Software
Section titled “Update FTP Credentials in Your Real Estate Software”Remember to update the FTP credentials in your real estate software after the move and adjust the FTP path to match the new domain.
Development and Staging Environments
Section titled “Development and Staging Environments”If you would like to run the plugin on a development or staging server in parallel, please contact our support team and provide:
- Your license key
- The URL of the development environment
Exception: For installations on localhost, no prior approval from support is required — you can activate the license there directly.
