Making Update-Safe Customizations
The WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin
Section titled “The WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin”Place your individual customizations in your WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin to keep them update-safe. Files you modify directly in the main plugin will be overwritten with every plugin update. The WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin remains unaffected and preserves all your customizations.
Installing the WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin
Section titled “Installing the WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin”The WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin (wp-immomakler-child-skin-plugin-v1.4.zip) is included with your plugin purchase. Alternatively, you can download it at any time from your shop customer account.
Install the plugin via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. After activation, the Child Skin is automatically available in WP-ImmoMakler — no additional configuration is required.
Making Customizations
Section titled “Making Customizations”All update-safe customizations go into the file /wp-content/plugins/immomakler-child/functions.php. Place your own templates in the WP-ImmoMakler Child-Skin-Plugin folder, mirroring the directory structure of the main plugin.
