Create Single Template
With Bricks Builder you can design the detail view of every property exactly as you want. WP-ImmoMakler provides specialized Bricks elements that cover all aspects of a property — from the image gallery and data sheets to the contact form.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Bricks Builder (active theme)
- WP-ImmoMakler (any edition)
Option A: Detail View (complete)
Section titled “Option A: Detail View (complete)”The complete element renders the entire detail page — including the gallery, data, map, contact form, and everything else that belongs to a full detail view.
-
Create a new template
Navigate to Bricks > Templates and create a new template of type Single.
-
Set conditions
Open the template settings and set the Post Type to
immomakler_objectunder Conditions. -
Insert the element
Open the Bricks editor and add the Detailed view (complete) element from the WP-ImmoMakler category.
-
Save and test
Save the template and open any property on the frontend.
Option B: Custom template
Section titled “Option B: Custom template”For full design freedom, build the detail view from individual WP-ImmoMakler elements and Dynamic Tags. Each element represents a specific aspect of the property and can be freely positioned and styled.
-
Create a new template
Create a new Bricks template of type Single and set the condition to Post Type
immomakler_object. -
Build the page structure
Create the desired page structure with sections and columns — for example, a main area with gallery and data on the left, a sidebar on the right with the PDF exposé and the contact person. The contact form needs room for multi-column fields and the consent texts; place it in its own full-width section below the two columns.
-
Add the gallery
You have three options for displaying property photos:
Option 1: WP-ImmoMakler Image Gallery Add the Gallery element from the WP-ImmoMakler category. It provides the same options you know from the Customizer — on a per-element-instance basis. See Configure the gallery below.
Option 2: Native Bricks gallery elements Use a native Bricks Carousel, Slider, or Image Gallery element and set the Dynamic Tag
{immomakler_property_images}as the image source. This gives you full control over slider options, animations, and layout — with all of Bricks’ styling capabilities.Option 3: Third-party gallery Gallery elements from third-party providers (e.g., BricksExtras, BricksForge, Jetstylizer) can also use the Dynamic Tag
{immomakler_property_images}as an image source. Select the dynamic image source in the respective element and insert the tag.You can also filter the images using the photo tag:
{immomakler_property_images}— All images{immomakler_property_images:non_floorplans}— All images except floor plans{immomakler_property_images:floorplans}— Floor plans only
-
Add property data
Add the desired data elements:
Element Description Object data Data table as a definition list — individual fields can be shown/hidden via checkboxes Energy certificate Energy certificate data with country-specific support (DE, AT, ES, IT) and energy diagram Equipment/features Property features as an icon list with configurable layout, icons, and styling -
Insert description texts
Use a Bricks Basic Text or Rich Text element with the Dynamic Tag
{immomakler_description:key}. Available description fields:{immomakler_description:objektbeschreibung}— Property description{immomakler_description:ausstatt_beschr}— Features description{immomakler_description:lage}— Location description{immomakler_description:sonstige_angaben}— Additional information{immomakler_description:dreizeiler}— Short description
The output is automatically processed: bullet point characters are converted to lists, URLs and phone numbers are linked, and typographic corrections are applied.
-
Add the map
Add the Neighborhood map element. It displays the property’s location with the map provider you selected in the Customizer under WP-ImmoMakler → Maps.
-
Insert the contact form
Add the Contact Form element. It displays the WP-ImmoMakler contact form with automatic property assignment. Give the form’s section the ID
kontaktunder Attributes, so that a button with the link#kontaktjumps straight to the form. For the contact person there are the Contact Person Photo and Contact Details elements. The photo has settings for aspect ratio, width, and border (with corner radius, e.g. 50% for a round photo); the contact details are selected field by field, just like the property data. If the contact person has no photo, the element outputs nothing.
-
Insert videos
Add the Videos element to display all videos associated with the property.
-
Conditions for conditional display
Use Bricks Conditions to show sections only when the corresponding data is available. You will find the conditions under the WP-ImmoMakler group:
- Property content — Show a section together with its heading only when there are videos, a virtual tour, a map, etc.
- Property data — Show a row only when a data field has a value
- Description texts — Show text sections only when a description field is filled
- PDF — Show the PDF download button only when a PDF is available
- Reference object — Hide, for example, the enquiry button on reference objects
- Taxonomy conditions — Different layouts depending on property type, marketing type, or country
-
Save and test
Save the template and open a property on the frontend.

| Area | Options |
|---|---|
| Image selection | All images, floor plans only, without floor plans |
| Gallery type | Slideshow (Swiper-based gallery with lightbox) or Static (image grid without slider, lightbox on click) |
| Slideshow layout | Vertical (thumbnail strip below), Horizontal (thumbnail strip on the right), Without thumbnails, Carousel |
| Static layout | Vertical (thumbnail strip below), Horizontal (thumbnail grid on the right), Without thumbnails, Grid (all images as equally sized tiles, no main image), Mosaic (blocks of 4 photos with alternating large and small tiles, no main image) |
| Transition effect | Slide (default), Fade or “Aus- und Einblenden” — see Image Gallery: Slideshow |
| Transition duration | 100–2,000 ms (default 400 ms) |
| Autoplay | Automatic slide change with configurable delay in seconds |
| Aspect ratios | Main and thumbnail images independently configurable (16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 1:1, Golden ratio, Original; static additionally 2:1 and 3:1) |
| Thumbnail size | 40–400 px width (controls the number of simultaneously visible thumbnails) |
| Mobile thumbnails | Show or hide on devices ≤ 768 px |
| Carousel height | Pixel or viewport unit (px, vw, vh, svh, lvh, dvh) |
| Static grid | Rows and columns independently configurable per layout variant |
| Gallery height (static) | Automatic or fixed |

| Grid options | Only in the “Grid” static layout: columns (maximum, 1–6), minimum tile width (below which a column drops automatically), tile aspect ratio, image fit (Crop for photos or Show in full for floor plans) and image title as caption. Combined with the “Floor plans only” image selection, this produces a floor plans box like the WP-ImmoMakler skin’s |
| Mosaic options | Only in the “Mosaic” static layout: block aspect ratio, row height distribution (1:1, 2:1 or golden ratio) and limit number of images (4, 8, 12 or 16 images) |
| Spacing + rounding | Gap between images, border-radius (each image individually or only the outer gallery edges) |
| Navigation colour | Colour picker for arrow buttons and pagination dots (slideshow mode) |
Full descriptions of individual values can be found in the Customizer docs for the Slideshow and static gallery — the same terminology applies to the Bricks element.
Dynamic Tags for the detail view
Section titled “Dynamic Tags for the detail view”In addition to the specialized elements, you can use Dynamic Tags in any Bricks element:
| Tag | Description |

Conditions for conditional display
Section titled “Conditions for conditional display”Conditions help you avoid empty sections on the detail page:
| Condition | Recommended use |
|---|---|
| Property content | Show videos, tours, floor plans, map, or energy certificate only when available |
| Property data | Show individual data rows or tiles only when a value is present |
| Reference object | Hide the enquiry button or prices on reference objects |
| Description texts | Show text sections only when a description is available |
| Show the PDF download button only when a PDF is available | |
| Country | Country-specific presentation (e.g., energy certificate for Germany only) |
| Property type | Different fields for apartments vs. plots |
| Marketing type | Different price display for sale vs. rental |
| Status | Special presentation for reference properties |
Preview and testing
Section titled “Preview and testing”Bricks provides a live preview directly in the editor. To test the template with real property data:
- Open the template in the Bricks editor.
- Under Populate Content in the template settings, choose “Single (post/page/CPT)” as the Content Type and then a property. Without this setting, the WP-ImmoMakler elements stay empty in the editor because no property is loaded.
- Additionally check the result on the frontend by opening a property directly.
