EVERREAL WordPress Plugin: Import Properties Automatically
WP-ImmoMakler is the WordPress plugin for EVERREAL: it automatically transfers your properties from EVERREAL to your WordPress website via the OpenImmo interface.
Prerequisites

- The FTP or SFTP credentials of your web server — you can obtain these from your web host
- A WordPress website with WP-ImmoMakler installed; the plugin automatically creates the transfer directory

Setting Up the OpenImmo Export in EVERREAL
Section titled “Setting Up the OpenImmo Export in EVERREAL”Set up a new portal connection in EVERREAL and enter the FTP or SFTP credentials for your web server.
Configure the following fields:
- Portal name: A descriptive name, e.g. “Website”, “Homepage” or “WP-ImmoMakler”
- Provider number: Any numeric ID — typically “1” if you are the sole provider
- Path subdirectory: By default
/openimmo/in the WordPress root directory. If WordPress is installed in a subdirectory, enter the full path from the FTP root, e.g./clickandbuilds/app/wordpress_1/openimmo/ - ZIP format: Enable the option “Send data as ZIP”

How the Automatic Import Works
Section titled “How the Automatic Import Works”EVERREAL exports your properties as an OpenImmo file via FTP or SFTP to the /openimmo/ directory of your website. WP-ImmoMakler checks this directory regularly — most reliably via a server cron job — and processes new files fully automatically: new properties are created, changed ones are updated, and properties removed in EVERREAL are also removed from the website.
All images, floor plans, and documents from the export end up in the WordPress media library. The plugin can then delete processed files automatically, on request with a success notification by email — the details are controlled by the import settings.

Section titled “How quickly do changes from EVERREAL appear on the website?”As soon as EVERREAL has transferred a new export to the /openimmo/ directory, WP-ImmoMakler processes the file during the next import run. How often EVERREAL exports is configured in EVERREAL; the import frequency on the website is determined by the cron job.
Are images, floor plans, and documents transferred?
Section titled “Are images, floor plans, and documents transferred?”Yes. All attachments from the OpenImmo export — photos, floor plans, PDF documents — are automatically imported into the WordPress media library. Image quality can be adjusted under Settings: Import; from WP-ImmoMakler PLUS onwards, images can additionally be converted automatically to the space-saving AVIF format.
What happens if I delete a property in EVERREAL?
Section titled “What happens if I delete a property in EVERREAL?”If EVERREAL transfers a deletion command or a full sync without the property, it is also removed from your website. You can exempt reference properties from this — with the option “Ignore deletion commands for reference properties” under Settings: Import.
Can I use EVERREAL in parallel with other sources?
Section titled “Can I use EVERREAL in parallel with other sources?”Yes. WP-ImmoMakler processes several sources at the same time — e.g. EVERREAL in parallel with an ImmoScout24 account or with properties created manually in WordPress. The inventories of the individual sources are synchronized separately from each other.
