Set Up Your Privacy Policy Page

If you see the following message in the WordPress admin area:

WP-ImmoMakler Child Skin: No privacy policy page has been configured. Please create a privacy policy page and link it under Settings → Privacy.

this means that no privacy policy page has been selected under Settings → Privacy in WordPress, or the selected page has not been published.

  1. Create a new page

Go to Pages → Add New and create a new page with the title “Privacy Policy”. Fill the page with your legally valid privacy policy text and publish the page.

  2. Link the page in WordPress

Navigate to Settings → Privacy. Under “Privacy Policy Page”, select the page you just created from the drop-down list and click Use This Page.

  3. The notice disappears

After the next page load in the admin area, the yellow notice will no longer appear once the linked page has the status “Published”.

The admin notice is displayed when any of the following conditions apply:

ConditionNotice visible

The notice is only visible to users with the WordPress capability manage_options (administrators).
