Create Archive Template

With Oxygen Builder you can design the property list view (archive) to your specifications. You have two approaches: the complete element Archives (complete) for a quick start, or the Search result element for a custom layout with more control.

Requirements

• Oxygen Builder
• WP-ImmoMakler (any edition)

Note

In your website’s backend (wp-admin), disable the Plugin handles list and detail views option under WP-ImmoMakler → Settings → Theme Builder if you want Oxygen to fully control the presentation.

Option A: Archive (complete)

The complete element renders the entire property list using WP-ImmoMakler’s proven HTML template — including the search form, map, and pagination.

1. Create a new template

   Navigate to Oxygen > Templates and create a new template. Set the assignment to the archive type for the Property post type.

2. Insert the element

   Open the Oxygen editor and click the Add button. Under the WP-ImmoMakler section you will find the Archives (complete) element. Add it to the page.

3. Save and test

   Save the template and visit a property overview page on the frontend.

Option B: Custom layout with Search Result

For more control over the layout, use the Search result element. It outputs only the property tiles — add the search form and map separately.

1. Create a new template

   Create a new Oxygen template for the archive type Property.

2. Build the page structure

   Create the desired page structure with sections and columns.

3. Insert the search form PLUS

   Add the Search form element from the WP-ImmoMakler section to the sidebar or header area. It automatically filters the results list.

4. Insert the map PLUS

   Optional: Add the Real estate map element to display the search results on an interactive map. The map shows up to 1,000 properties and adjusts dynamically to the active filters.

5. Insert the Search Result

   Add the Search result element from the WP-ImmoMakler section to the main area. It displays the properties as configurable tiles.

6. Save and test

   Save the template and check the result on the frontend.

Preview and testing

To test the template with real property data:

1. Save the template in the Oxygen editor.
2. Open a page on the frontend that displays your property list (e.g., the property overview page).
3. Verify that the list view is rendered correctly.

Tip

Start with the complete Archives (complete) element and switch to the Search result later if you need more design freedom.
