Taxonomies (Categories)
Automatically Generated Taxonomies
Section titled “Automatically Generated Taxonomies”WP-ImmoMakler automatically creates the following taxonomies during import and assigns the corresponding terms to imported properties:

Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”The taxonomies can be used in the following areas:
- Search forms: Dropdown or checkbox filters for property type, marketing type, etc.
- Menu items: Taxonomy archives as navigation entries.
- Custom queries: As
tax_queryparameters inWP_Queryorget_posts()calls for targeted property filtering.
Adding Custom Taxonomies
Section titled “Adding Custom Taxonomies”You can register additional taxonomies and have them automatically populated during import. A complete example with a postal code taxonomy can be found in the Filter Hooks documentation.
