Manually Deleting Properties
If properties are not deleted automatically through the import process — for example because the estate agent software does not send delete flags — you can remove listings manually in the WordPress backend at any time.
Deleting a Single Property
Section titled “Deleting a Single Property”
- Go in your website’s backend (wp-admin) to Properties → All Properties.
- Find the property to be deleted and hover over the entry.
- Click Trash to move the property to the WordPress trash.
- To permanently remove the property, empty the trash via Trash → Delete Permanently or via Settings → Empty Trash.
Deleting Multiple Properties at Once
Section titled “Deleting Multiple Properties at Once”
- Tick the checkboxes to the left of the desired entries.
- Select Move to Trash from the Actions dropdown at the top or bottom of the list.
- Click Apply.
Deleting All Properties from an Import
Section titled “Deleting All Properties from an Import”If you want to delete all properties from a specific source (e.g. a particular FTP import) at once, filter the list by the relevant source and select all entries.
Properties Are Re-created on the Next Import
Section titled “Properties Are Re-created on the Next Import”To prevent a manually deleted property from being imported again, deactivate the listing in your estate agent software or remove it from the export before deleting it in WP-ImmoMakler.
Automatic Deletion via the Estate Agent Software
Section titled “Automatic Deletion via the Estate Agent Software”If your estate agent software supports OpenImmo-compliant delete flags (action DELETE in the XML), properties are automatically deleted on the next import. For more information, refer to your estate agent software documentation.
