What PHP version does WP-ImmoMakler require?
Section titled “What PHP version does WP-ImmoMakler require?”WP-ImmoMakler requires at least PHP 8.2, with PHP 8.3 or newer recommended. Older versions such as PHP 7.4 or 8.1 are not supported: WordPress already refuses to install or activate the plugin on such a server. You don’t change the PHP version in WordPress itself, but in your hosting provider’s customer area. You’ll find full details and a step-by-step guide under System Requirements.
What WordPress version does WP-ImmoMakler require?
Section titled “What WordPress version does WP-ImmoMakler require?”WP-ImmoMakler requires at least WordPress 6.7 and is tested up to WordPress 7.1. We recommend always keeping WordPress up to date. Does WP-ImmoMakler work with my theme?
Section titled “Does WP-ImmoMakler work with my theme?”WP-ImmoMakler can be integrated into any WordPress theme. The effort required for integration varies depending on the theme’s structure. If you need assistance with the integration, we offer a professional integration service.
Is there a trial version?

Can I import properties directly from ImmobilienScout24 or Immowelt?
Section titled “Can I import properties directly from ImmobilienScout24 or Immowelt?”Yes, WP-ImmoMakler supports direct import via the ImmobilienScout24 REST API as well as the Immowelt API. This automatically synchronizes your properties with your WordPress website.
Does WP-ImmoMakler work without real estate software?
Section titled “Does WP-ImmoMakler work without real estate software?”Yes, if you do not use real estate software, you can import properties directly from ImmobilienScout24 or Immowelt. Alternatively, free tools such as OpenEstate ImmoTool are suitable for centrally managing your properties with subsequent OpenImmo export.
Can I upgrade my license?
Section titled “Can I upgrade my license?”Yes, an upgrade from BASIC to PLUS or to a higher edition is possible at any time. You only pay the difference to the new list price and retain your existing support period. For more information on upgrading the plugin, see here.
Does the plugin run permanently?
Section titled “Does the plugin run permanently?”Yes, after purchase, you can use WP-ImmoMakler indefinitely. Support and updates are included in the purchase price for the first twelve months. A service package is available for continuing support and updates after this period expires.
Does the plugin meet the legal requirements in German-speaking countries?
Section titled “Does the plugin meet the legal requirements in German-speaking countries?”Yes, WP-ImmoMakler was specifically developed for the legal requirements in German-speaking countries. The plugin supports, among other things, the buyer’s agent commission principle, cancellation policies, and the display of energy certificate data.
How does migrating to a new domain work?
Section titled “How does migrating to a new domain work?”After a domain or URL change, it is important to first deactivate the license key on the old website. You can then activate the license on the new domain. Also remember to update the FTP credentials in your real estate software. For more details, see the guide Migrating the Plugin to a New Domain. Should you have forgotten to deactivate the licence key before moving, please contact our support team — we will update this in our system for you.
I am a commercial real estate agent — is WP-ImmoMakler suitable for my site?
Section titled “I am a commercial real estate agent — is WP-ImmoMakler suitable for my site?”Yes, WP-ImmoMakler supports commercial real estate in addition to residential properties. Property types, usage types, and data fields such as office space, warehouse space, or commercial rent are fully covered. All common OpenImmo-compliant real estate software systems transfer commercial properties in the same format as residential properties.
Can all WordPress themes work with WP-ImmoMakler?
Section titled “Can all WordPress themes work with WP-ImmoMakler?”In principle, yes. WP-ImmoMakler is built to be theme-independent and can be integrated into any WordPress theme. The effort for visual integration varies depending on the theme structure. For themes with page builders (Elementor Pro, Divi, Bricks, etc.), dedicated integrations are available. For custom themes, we recommend our integration service.
I am not yet using any real estate software — does WP-ImmoMakler still work?
Section titled “I am not yet using any real estate software — does WP-ImmoMakler still work?”Yes, if you do not use real estate software, you have the following options: you can import properties directly via the ImmobilienScout24 REST API or the Immowelt API. Alternatively, properties can also be created manually in the WordPress admin area.
Does WP-ImmoMakler support multilingual sites (e.g. with WPML)?
Section titled “Does WP-ImmoMakler support multilingual sites (e.g. with WPML)?”Yes, multilingual support can be achieved using the WPML plugin. WP-ImmoMakler automatically adjusts number formats, currency displays, and date formats to match the currently active language. Via the DeepL integration, property texts can be automatically translated into the desired language during import.
Can I use WP-ImmoMakler indefinitely?
Section titled “Can I use WP-ImmoMakler indefinitely?”Yes, after purchase, WP-ImmoMakler is yours permanently — there is no obligation to renew. Support and plugin updates are included in the purchase price for the first twelve months. After this period, you can purchase an optional service package to continue receiving updates and support. The plugin continues to run without an active service package. You can also book the service package at a later date when an update that interests you is released.
